Complexity have defeated Rogue 2-0 (Mirage 16-3, Dust2 16-14) to clinch the title at the Americas Minor, claiming the $30,000 first-place prize. With both teams already through to the Major's New Challengers Stage, Rogue and Complexity faced off for bragging rights and for the grand prize of $30,000. Earlier in the tournament, Rogue had run out 2-0 victors over coL in the upper bracket final, but viewers tuning in to the stream quickly realised that this would be a very different match. Starting out on the Terrorist side of the map, Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's men ran all over the defence and cruised to a 10-1 lead. A triple kill from Hunter "SicK" Mims then helped Rogue get their second round on the board, but there was no follow-up, although Casper "cadiaN" Møller almost pulled off a 1v2 clutch. Rogue then came close to winning the final round of the half after a triple kill spraydown from Daniel "vice" Kim on the B site, but Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and stanislaw remained calm and collected and overturned a 2v4 situation for a 13-2 lead. ![]() More misery was about to come for Rogue, who lost the opening two rounds of the second half. cadiaN's side still managed to respond thanks to a successful CZ force buy, but Complexity hit back immediately for a clean 16-3 finish. Dust2 saw Complexity start off with a similar performance as on Mirage, reading Rogue's movements well throughout the first 10 rounds to claim a 9-1 lead as Terrorists. A triple from Spencer "Hiko" Martin stopped the streak and Rogue were able to clinch three more rounds before the half ended at 11-4. When stanislaw's side secured the second pistol round as well, all hope seemed lost for Rogue, but they still had life left in them, as they won the second-round forcebuy with a quick A play and added three rounds to their tally on the back of it. After losing the next two rounds to B retakes from Complexity, Rogue continued to close the gap until it was 14-15, when stanislaw's quad-kill finished off the map and the series at 16-14, 2-0.
